The Gaylord Rockies project is a standalone convention center hotel development located within the 1,800-acre mixed-use, master-planned High Point community in Aurora, Colorado. The project is being developed as a partnership between Ares Management and RIDA Development. The Gaylord Rockies will contain 1,500 rooms as well as 464,800 square feet of meeting space, eight food and beverage outlets, a spa and fitness center, indoor and outdoor water parks, and 2,748 parking spaces. Gaylord Rockies will be the first stop along a new light rail line that will run from Denver International Airport to Denver Union Station.
